Nexi Event

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 8, 2026

1. Introduction

Nexi Event ("we," "us," or "our") operates https://www.nexievent.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. By using Nexi Event, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, and phone number when you sign up or are added as a guest.
  • Event data: guest lists, table assignments, timeline items, and announcements created by Hosts.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and device/browser information collected automatically.
  • Communications: messages you send us via email or support channels.
  • Payment information: processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
  • Send event invitations, announcements, and transactional emails.
  • Send SMS notifications where a phone number is provided and consent is given.
  • Process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Respond to your questions and provide customer support.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3b. SMS Communications

Nexi Event does not text you until you opt in yourself. You can check in in one of two ways: by scanning a QR code displayed at the event, or by opening a shareable check-in link from your host — both lead to the same public, no-login check-in page. There, you identify yourself by entering your name, phone number, or email address. Beneath that field is a separate, standalone, unchecked-by-default checkbox agreeing to receive SMS updates for that event; checking in never requires checking this box. Only when you check the box does a phone number field appear, where you provide or confirm your mobile number. No event content — invitations, timeline updates, or announcements — is sent to your phone number until you check that box and enter a phone number yourself. Message frequency varies by event. Standard message and data rates may apply.

  • SMS consent and phone numbers collected for text messaging purposes will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances.
  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
  • Reply HELP at any time for assistance. You can also contact us at support@nexievent.com.
  • To re-enable messages after opting out, reply UNSTOP.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Service providers listed below, who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Hosts and guests: Hosts can see the names, phone numbers, and statuses of guests on their event. Guests can see event information shared by the Host.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Nexi Event or others.
